The Giver by Lois Lowry was a good book. I rate it a 3 out of 5 stars. Jonas was a very brave and courageous boy. He made the story very interesting, but the giver was my favorite character in the story, because he played a very big role. I like how he wanted to take down the community with Jonas. I also really liked the setting since it was a dystopian future experience. I just wish the author would have included more at the end. It would have been great if she would have said what happened after Jonas went to the house. But overall its a good book and I do recommend it.
